- Can I order a custom boat or camper/trailer? Certainly! We offer stock boats/trailers but we are happy to build you a boat in your color preference, layout, options, your preference of electronics and much more.
- How long does it take to build a custom boat or camper/trailer? This can vary greatly depending on time of year and current demand. Just shoot us an email or give us a call to get the current build times.
- What are your normal payment terms? It will vary based on your needs and if it will be paid in cash or if you are doing a loan. If doing a loan, it is generally around 10% down but can be as little as zero down. If doing on a cash basis our normal terms are 50% down, 25% when the boat is ready to rig, and the balance when complete. If using ACH (aka E-Check), please make payment at least 3 days prior to ship/pick-up date to make sure that the payment has processed.
- Do I have to pick it up or can it be delivered? We would love to meet you but totally understand how hard it is to get away, especially for those that are across the country. With that said, we can deliver anywhere in the continental US at a very competitive rate. Our goal is to not have high shipping costs limit your options.
- I live in an area where I can’t use my new boat or camper/trailer until XX/XX/XXXX, can I order early so I know it will be ready for me when I am ready? This is actually very common for us and are happy to do it, whether the weather limits your ability to use or if you are about to move and just don’t want to deal with it we are happy to help. All we ask is that you give us a rough estimate on when you would like your boat/trailer so we can plan accordingly.
- I know my boat/camper/trailer is ready but I will not be able to pick up for awhile, can you store it for me until then? This is normally not a problem but we do ask you to give us a heads up as early as possible because sometimes our lots do get full and we are not able to accommodate requests. We do charge a small fee for this service if your boat is at our shop for more than 2 weeks after completion.
- I didn’t purchase my boat/camper/trailer from BFO but would love to have you guys install some options for me? That is no problem at all and would be happy to repair or install your new accessories. We have access to most products that are on the market so we can get you set up for your next adventure.
- You have a boat/camper/trailer in stock that I love but I would like to add some options, is that possible? Certainly! We can add LED lights, Power Poles, EVA Custom Decking, Fish finders/ChartPlotters, Trolling Motors, Jack Plates, Solar Packages, and much more.
- You don’t show on your price sheets that you do fish finders or more than one option of trolling motor, can I get another model? Absolutely! We list the most common trolling motor options for that boat and since the fish finder list is very long across the numerous manufacturers and models we wanted to keep our build list short so it doesn’t get overwhelming. Just let us know you are interested in one and we will let you know what is available.
- Do you every get any used boats or camper/trailers? We do get used ones on occasion but luckily most of our customers love their boat/trailers and don’t let them go very often. Just check our inventory tab regularly or let us know what you are interested in and we will add you to our call list.
- Where can I see one in my area? We have physical locations in Locust Grove, GA, Maryville, TN, and by appt only in Ennis, MT and try to have a few owners/reps in various areas that are willing to show out their pride and joy. We also have a great driver that, when possible, is willing to stop and show you a boat/trailer when he is coming thru town. Just give us a call or send an email and we can put you on our list of people that would like to view.
- Can I come view your inventory? Yes, we would love to show you what we have in stock. Please note, our TN location is appointment only due to staffing issues but our GA store maintains regular, consistent hours for you to stop in and pay us a visit. However, if you are looking for something specific please reach out so we can confirm that we have what you are looking for in stock.
